Why LaRouche's Exoneration is of Utmost Urgency for the West

It would not be surprising to find that many people outside of the U.S. are confused, and wonder what exactly is going on in the United States with the investigation of President Trump, and the charges against him and the "Russians".  Most are probably familiar with the official story, that Russia meddled in the 2016 election, that Trump colluded with the Russians, and then obstructed efforts to find the evidence, as this has been repeated endlessly in the German press.

But why has the investigation not reached a conclusion?  If the intelligence agencies of the U.S. are so certain that their allegations are true, why has it dragged on so long?  Where is the evidence to back the charges? After two years of high-profile investigation by the special counsel, why has he been unable to produce a "smoking gun"?  And why have so many FBI and Justice Department officials involved in it become targets of prosecution, for lying, including covering up their role in using the fraudulent dossier against Trump produced by former British MI6 operative Christopher Steele?

Is it possible that the charges are nothing but lies, disinformation, and psy-ops?  That they were concocted, as Trump tweeted this week, by the British, to prevent him from changing the direction of U.S. strategic policy, from the unilateralist neocon course of Bush and Obama, of provocations against Russia and China, to a policy of dialogue aimed at achieving peaceful cooperation with those nations?  And if this is true, why has this assault been allowed to continue, wrecking the chances for cooperation, through provocations leading toward a possible nuclear war?

Trump's tweets on March 18 tell an important part of the real story.  In one, he retweeted what William Craddick tweeted a day earlier:

"Russiagate was designed in part to help the UK counter Russian influence by baiting the United States into taking a hard line against them.  Leaves us all with a more dangerous world as a consequence. Just another episode of the Great Game."

Craddick, the founder of the website Disobedient Media, is one of the few who has demonstrated the courage to expose the initiating role of British intelligence in making up the Putin-Trump story.

In a second retweet, Trump cited Craddick's retweet of a message from Democratic Party presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard, the only serious anti-war candidate vying for her party's nomination. Gabbard tweeted,

"Short-sighted politicians and media pundits who've spent the last two years of accusing Trump as a Putin puppet have brought us the expensive new Cold War & arms race.  How? Because Trump now does everything he can to prove he's not Putin's puppet—even if it brings us closer to nuclear war."

These tweets have taken on greater strategic importance in bringing out the truth aboutRussiagate, because the media in the U.S. and Germany is in bed with British intelligence and their American counterparts, sharing their commitment to remove Trump, and playing a crucial role in pushing the lies.  Thanks in part to Trump's tweeting, recent polls show that what he calls the "witch hunt" against him is losing ground. A U.S. Today poll on March 17 showed the numbers favoring Trump's impeachment have fallen sharply in the last two months, down to 28%, while 62% oppose impeachment; 50% now say they agree with Trump, that special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation is a witch hunt, and only 28% say they trust Mueller.  (If the media had been polled, it is likely he would have a trust rating of 100%!)

But there is a bigger story here than that evident in the tweets and retweets.  The most significant ongoing exposure of the British direction of the criminal fraud of "Russiagate" has been that of LaRouchePAC, with daily updates, and the circulation of longer, detailed dossiers, which have provided both a complete rundown of the actors involved, and their dangerous actions, as well as an explanation of their motives, rooted in their refusal to accept the rejection by Trump, and by many voters in the Trans-Atlantic region, of British geopolitics.  The LaRouche movement knows this from the inside, as Lyndon LaRouche was targeted by these same networks more than thirty years ago, using the same unlawful and vicious tactics which have been used against President Trump, in some cases by the same individuals—Robert Mueller, for example, played a leading role in the "Get LaRouche" task force, brought in by anti-Trumper William Weld—with the same intent, to disrupt the potential that the Reagan administration might achieve a shift away from the threat of nuclear war, through cooperation with Russia.

And that is why the exoneration of LaRouche, an innocent man who was sent to prison by a gang of thugs, with active participation of British and American intelligence officials, leaders in both U.S. parties, and lying media, is of utmost importance today, not just for the U.S., but for the world.

Lyndon LaRouche, who passed away at the age of 96 on February 12 of this year, is justly renowned as an economist, historian, philosopher and scientist.  His presidential campaigns in the U.S. became a rallying point for bringing in ideas which were suppressed in the British post-war imperial order, with wide recognition of his expertise and commitment to shut down the bankrupt and failing neo-liberal financial system and replace it with a just world economic order.  His wisdom and passion for the fight have been acknowledged by world leaders and "ordinary citizens" alike.

LaRouche's role on the world stage became clear in 1982, when he intervened successfully to address both the deepening world financial crisis, and the danger of nuclear war due to the escalation of the arms race, with the deployment of a new generation of nuclear weapons by NATO and Russia, increasing the danger of nuclear annihilation, by reducing the time available to halt the launch of missiles.  LaRouche was then engaged in dialogue with world leaders on the creation of a new Bretton Woods financial system, while at the same time working with the Reagan administration, conducting back channel negotiations with the Soviets on joint deployment of what became known as the Strategic Defense Initiative—the SDI, a program whose principle strategic architect was LaRouche.

This provoked a flight forward reaction by top officials of British intelligence.  In August 27, 1982, a letter was sent from the British government to the FBI, demanding an investigation of LaRouche.  Though still classified, the response from the FBI makes clear the intent in sending the letter. James Nolan, the FBI counterintelligence chief, wrote that it is "entirely plausible" that the Soviets are using LaRouche to "promote Soviet foreign policy objectives."  By January 1983, Henry Kissinger and his allies on the Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board, with backing from Vice-President George H.W. Bush, demanded the FBI investigate foreign funding of LaRouche. After the 1984 election, a criminal investigation against LaRouche was opened by William Weld, of the blue-blood, British-linked White Weld investment firm.  By 1986, Robert S. Mueller, who Weld brought in as an assistant U.S. Attorney in Boston in 1982, took over the prosecution of LaRouche. In October 1986, 400 law enforcement agents raided LaRouche offices in Leesburg, Virginia, and surrounded LaRouche's residence with SWAT teams, with one key operative later admitting he intended to kill LaRouche. Though the Boston case brought by Mueller's team was thrown out by the judge, when suppressed evidence was brought forward demonstrating the involvement of Bush and his henchmen in the prosecution, the Justice Department moved the case to Alexandria, Virginia, where they achieved the conviction of LaRouche and a number of associates, sending them to jail in January 1989.  Their case was aided by lying press attacks on LaRouche, and the use of private foundations spending large amounts of money to slander him.

Ramsey Clark, a former U.S. Attorney General, stated that the LaRouche case represented,

"a broader range of deliberate cunning and systemic misconduct over a longer period of time using the power of the federal government than any other prosecution by the U.S. government in my time or to my knowledge."

Does this sound familiar?  Roger Stone, a target of Mueller as a former campaign manager of Trump and a long-time friend, told the Associated Press at the time of LaRouche's passing that he was "very familiar with the extraordinary and prophetic thinking of LaRouche," stating that his ideas had an "important backstage role" in Trump's election. The prosecution of Trump is linked to the LaRouche case not only due to the personnel involved, but by the fact that both threatened the post-war British imperial order, with its commitment to endless war, financial looting of poorer nations, as well as looting the majority of citizens in the Trans-Atlantic region, enforced by the alleged military superiority of the U.S. and NATO, and the silencing of all opposition.

In spite of their efforts, a global rebellion has emerged against this corrupt establishment, which resulted in BREXIT and Trump's election, and continues unabated.  The failure of Russiagate to remove Trump has increased the danger to the British-run establishment that the exposure of their corruption, combined with the emergence of a New Paradigm centered around China's Belt-and-Road Initiative, threaten to put an end to the madness of an era defined by geopolitics.

This is now the subject of Trump's retweets, as he points out that the effect of Russiagate has been to worsen relations between the U.S. and Russia, in spite of his intentions.  The neocons have taken advantage of the suspicion they have created of his intentions, to increase their leverage, in provoking a new Cold War. The immediacy of this danger can be seen in the decision by Trump to exit the INF Treaty, after his efforts to discuss this with Putin in their Helsinki summit was ridiculed as an example of Trump serving Russia's interests.  This exit is leading to preparations by both countries to develop new, more lethal weapons to be deployed in the closest geographical proximity possible. For the first time since the early 1980s, that means that Germany, a NATO member, may soon be a target for these weapons.

A campaign has been launched, by his associates, to exonerate Lyndon LaRouche.  This is not just a matter of posthumous justice for him, as he left this world with his dignity unchallenged, and his ideas will shape the debate of major issues confronting mankind for generations to come.  It is instead a matter bearing on the survival of civilization. If such calumnies and destructive threats as those hurled at LaRouche and Trump are allowed to go unchallenged, then mankind has little chance to avoid an increasingly chaotic and dangerous future.  By bringing up in a public way the illegal and dirty actions of those responsible for LaRouche's conviction, it becomes obvious that the investigation of Trump is not about his or Putin's actions in the 2016 election, but about the unelected "elites" ability protect a bankrupt and collapsing system, to the detriment of humanity.

And that is why LaRouche's exoneration is an existential matter not only for Americans, but to all Germans.
